Learn to Sew an Easy Button Up
Here’s what you’ll need for this project:
- West pattern
- All-purpose polyester sewing thread
- Sewing machine needle
- 1 yard (.9 meters) of lightweight fusible interfacing
- Four ⅝” (15 mm) buttons
- Point turner
In this video, you’ll learn some helpful fitting adjustments for the West shirt.
Lower or Raise Armhole
You can adjust the armhole opening to suit your personal preference.
Shorten or Lengthen Body
You can adjust the overall length to suit your personal preference.
